He was born on 30th October 1947, India, and the son of a veteran, iconic ‘Marathi’ film and theatre actor, Chandrakant Gokhale. Vikram Gokhale acted in more than 80 films and also appeared in various television serials.
In 2010, Vikram Gokhale made his feature film directorial debut with the Marathi movie ‘Aaghaat’. He won ‘The National Film Award’ for Best Actor in 2013 for his Marathi film ‘Anumati’, which Sprint Arts Creation produced.
