It’s heartbreaking for the music industry that Bollywood singer KK (Krishnakumar Kunath). The one who has enthralled music lovers for over three decades is no more. Krishnakumar Kunnath was one of the most all-around singers in the Indian film industry. KK has recorded songs in several languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali.

After the Nazrul Manch event in Kolkata on Tuesday, Bollywood singer KK fell down the steps of the hotel where he was staying. He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) for treatment at 10:30 pm but was pronounced dead at the scene. KK was born on August 23, 1968, and declared dead after an attack at the age of 53. According to reports, KK had complained while performing on stage that he was not feeling well.
KK shared a post on social media- Instagram caption- “Pulsating gig tonight at Nazrul Mancha. Vivekananda College !! Love you all,”

Along with Bollywood celebrities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief over the sudden demise of KK on Twitter.-“Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti,”
