About career
Shweta modeled for the first time in September 2006, for a magazine entitled L’Officiel India. She appeared in the 7th Anniversary of L’Officiel India in 2009, along with her brother Abhishek Bachchan.
She completed her study in Switzerland. Afterthat she joined CNN-IBN Channel as a journaist. She is still working with this channel.
She has hosted NextGen during NDTV Profit and also appeared in the show coffee with Karen reality show with mother Jaya Bachchan, Hema Malibu, Isha Deol.
Shweta has also written the forewords for Aishwarya R. Dhanush’s 2016 book Standing on an Apple Box: The Story of a Girl among the Stars and Rukhsana Eisa’s book The Golden Code: Mastering the Art of Social Success.
She is the author of the bestselling novel Paradise Towers.
