The career of Shriya Pilgaonkar
In her childhood, Shriya was an excellent swimmer and won many medals and awards. Shriya studied her school in Mumbai. He then received his graduation in ‘Sociology’ from ‘St. Xavier’s College’, Mumbai. Shriya’s parents thought that she could become a translator or linguist when she grew up, so she also learned the ‘Japanese’ language in childhood. Shriya Pilgaonkar has also learned the dance of Kathak and she is also a very good Kathak dancer.
In 2012, Shriya Pilgaonkar showed her performance in Karan Shetty’s 10-minute short drama ‘Freedom of Love’ on a stage among the audience. The play was a part of the short and sweet festival of NCPA. In this drama, Shriya acted and sang, and danced as well. After her performance in the drama Freedom of Love, Shriya made her acting debut on the big screen in 2013 with the Marathi film Ekulti Ek. It was based on the father-daughter relationship based on an English film. She has also been awarded the Best Newcomer Award for her best performance in this film.
She has also appeared in several TV commercials besides Marathi films. Apart from this, in 2016, Shriya made her Bollywood debut in the Hindi film Fan. In this film, her opposite was Shahrukh Khan. It was her first debut Hindi film. Shriya has also acted in Amazon Prime’s very famous web series Mirzapur.
