Sidhu Moose Wala was born on June 17, 1993, in the village of Musewala in Mansa District of Punjab. His mother Charan Kaur is the head of the village. With millions of fans, Musewala is popular for his gangster rap. The attack took place while Sidhu Moose Wala and his two friends were on their way to Mansa, their hometown in Punjab.
Two more people were injured in the shooting. The incident comes a day after the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government withdrew the security of 424 people, including Sidhu Moose Wala. Former minister Manpreet Singh Badal, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, and former chief ministers Charanjit Singh Chani and Raj Kumar Verka were among those who lost their protective shields. In 2020, Sidhu was named by The Guardian as one of the top 50 new artists. Sidhu Musewala was fired upon by miscreants with 30 rounds.
