Miss Universe Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is now titled her upcoming film Ponniin Selvan: I. Ponniin Selvan: I, which is based on the epic historical story in Indian Tamil. The film is co-produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. In 1955, Ratnam adapted Kalki Krishnamurthy’s novel of the same name into a film. The film is co-written by Jayamohan and Elango Kumarvel.
