After the blockbuster success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is returning back on our screens with Gowtam Tinnanuari’s Hindi directorial debut Jersey. A remake of Nani’s acclaimed Telugu flick by the same which was also helmed by Tinnauri, the sports drama is finally hitting the marquee after getting delayed multiple times. This film will face the movie KGF Chapter 2 of superstars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, and Raveena Tandon in cinemas. This film has created a storm at the box office. The film has grossed over 250 crores in the Hindi language alone. On the other hand, by including all the languages in the country, the earnings of the film have also crossed 676 crores. Next to this film, a film like Bahubali 2 has also knelt down. In this case, Shahid Kapoor’s jersey will be a mountain of a challenge.

Jersey can earn so much on the first day
The film can earn around Rs 8 crore on its release day. Filmmakers and trade experts feel that KGF 2’s second weekend is also going to be good. However, viewers watching Jersey will be different as the film has emotionally strong content. The trailer is being liked by everyone. It is a Hardcore Hindi movie, which has Cricket.
Reportedly, the film earned just Rs 1 crore on Day 7. Hence, the total box office collection now stands at Rs 19.96 crore.

According to trade analysts, considering the popularity and demand of Yash’s ‘KGF Chapter 2’, ‘Jersey’ may not get a good opening at the ticket counters but it is likely to grow with word of mouth. But, the trade analyst feels that the film may not do well on its opening day but it will grow day by day and do well at the box office.
