Marathi cinema’s much-loved comedy film ‘De Dhakka’ (2008) directed by Sudesh Manjrekar and Atul Kale started trending the charts once again when the film producer, Amey Khopkar announced the sequel of a much-awaited comedy film. The Bombay High Court on 4th March refused to grant a stay to the production of the Marathi film, ‘De Dhakka 2‘ being produced by Amey Khopkar.
The film ‘De Dhakka’ (2008) was produced under the banner of Satya Films and Zee Talkies. Last year, Amey announced the sequel and also unveiled that the sequel would be produced under his banner, Amey Khopkar Entertainment, and Skylink Entertainment.
Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar who is also one of the most renowned actors in Bollywood announced the sequel to his 2008 hit film De Dhakka. De Dhakka 2 is a 2020 Indian Marathi-language comedy-drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and Sudesh Manjrekar. Earlier today, filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar took to social media and disclosed the first look poster of his film. In the poster, we can see the lead stars Shivaji Satam, Makarand Anaspure, Siddharth Jadhav, and many more in the black car stuck in the middle of the road in London.
In the above poster, we can see the Jadhav family in London (United Kingdom). The first look of De Dhakka 2 is indeed leaving fans excited for the film. De Dhakka was released in 2008 and it was directed by Sudesh Manjrekar and Atul Kale.
