Beast is an upcoming Tamil action (Kollywood) film written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. The film stars Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.

Beast movie Plot:

‘Beast’ directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The producers have announced that the film will be released on April 14, 2022 in the Tamil New Year. The film produced by Sun Pictures, and Pooja Hegde playing the female lead with the young and popular Anirudh composing music for the film.
The film also has director Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh and Lilliput Faruqui in important roles. The entire shooting of director Nelson Dilip Kumar’s ‘Beast’ with Thalapathi Vijay has been completed and post production of the film is underway.

Production of Beast movie

The film was officially announced in December 2020 and the main photography started in March 2021. Due to the second wave of COVID-19 and lockdown in Tamil Nadu, the shooting stopped and resumed in July 2021 and ended in December.

On December 10, 2020, Sun Pictures announced that Thalapathi 65 would be directed by Nelson and Aniruddha Ravichandran was also asked to provide music; This project is their third collaboration with Vijay and Nelson. Along with Vijay, Murugadoss, Manoj and Anbariv were retained for the film. R. who worked with Nelson in the film Kolamavu Kokila and Doctor. Nirmal was announced as the film editor, while D.R.K. The film was produced by Kiran. Anbariv brought “extraordinary” stunt sequences to the film, similar to K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018).

On March 31, 2021, the film was launched at Sun TV Studios with a formal pooja ceremony. Vijay and Nelson traveled to Georgia on April 7, 2021 for the film’s shooting schedule. Sun Pictures posted a post on April 9 stating that production of the film has started from the shooting location. Due to the second wave of Covid 19 epidemic, the team shot 30% of the film in Georgia and the rest in Chennai. Vijay then returned to Chennai on April 26 and an introductory song and some action sequences were shot.

Beast is scheduled to be released theatrically on 14 April 2022, on the occasion of Puthandu.
