Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gor will be making her debut in Hindi films with 1920: Horrors of Heart. The film has been written by Mahesh Bhatt, directed by Krishna Bhatt and will be produced by Vikram Bhatt.
Avika Gor, who has earlier worked in Telugu and Kannada films. She is known for playing the roles of Anandi in Balika Vadhu and Roli in Sasural Simar Ka, both were successful shows.
Avika Gor finally set to step into Bollywood
There have been reports of Avika Gor wanting to enter into Bollywood films for quite some time. Fans of the actress had been super excited about the same for a long time.
She made her Hindi television debut with Ssshhhh…Koi Hai in 2007. She made her film debut in Tollywood with Uyyala Jampala in 2013 and won SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut (Telugu) at 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards for her role.
The Bhatts announced their association with Avika through a social media post.
Vikram Bhatt wrote in their post, “1920 started a new chapter in my life and now another story set in 1920 will kick start in Hindi films the career of the immensely talented @avikagor and the gritty girl director @krishnavbhatt 1920 – horrors of the heart is written by my mentor and guru @maheshfilm – this time I play the producer – cheering from the wings for the emerging talent,”
Her boyfriend Milind Chandwani also shared the post on his Instagram story and wrote, “Wohooo!! Congratulations my love @avikagor! You will kill it!!!” Avika responded to it by writing, “Thanks baby!”
