Akshay Kumar is an Indian-born naturalized Canadian actor, television presenter, and film producer who works in Hindi-language films.

Films – He made his debut with the film Aaj (1991) appeared as a Karate instructor, Saugandh as a Shiva Kirplani, Dancer as a Raju, and several other films of his released in the 1990s, including Lahu Ke Do Rang, Insaaf, Daava, Tarazu, Angaaray, Barood, and Zulmi performed poorly at the box office.

He was cast in the Pramod Chakravorty produced film Deedar. He played a supporting role in the Chopra-directed romance Dil To Pagal Hai (1997). his appearance in the Suneel Darshan-directed crime drama Jaanwar (1999) met with critical acclaim. In 2000, he worked in the Priyadarshan-directed comedy Hera Pheri and the Dharmesh Darshan-directed love triangle Dhadkan. The following year he portrayed a negative role in Ajnabee’s (2001) film. he appeared in the David Dhawan directed rom-com Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. He appeared in the Garam Masala as a comic actor.

In 2002, He appeared in Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya, Aankhen, Awara Paagal Deewana, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani. In 2003, Talaash: The Hunt Begins… and Andaaz films were the bests.

In 2004,  he appeared in Khakee, Police Force: An Inside Story, Aan: Men at Work, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Hatya: The Murder, Aitraaz, Meri Biwi Ka Jawaab Nahin, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo. In 2005, He appeared in Insan, Bewafaa, Waqt: The Race Against Time, Garam Masala, Deewane Huye Paagal, and Dosti: Friends Forever.
